The role:
We require a SCADA Engineer with experience in consulting with various industrial customers (NZ city council’s experience advantageous) for our client, a leading international consultancy.  In this role you will liaise with assets, operations and senior management teams to ensure their control and SCADA systems meet, delivers the best outcomes for their facilities.  You will be involved in consulting to customers throughout New Zealand regarding their needs for new and the upgrading of existing SCADA systems.
This role will see you involved in all facets of Electrical engineering from concept design through to commissioning and client handover.  This role offers a very competitive salary, along with a benefits package and the opportunity to negotiate a flexible work agreement.

About you:
You will be an electrical engineer with a background in consultancy or heavy industrial/infrastructure facilities. You will possess high levels of computer literacy over various operating systems, with the ability to break down and understand complex systems.
With strong English written and verbal communication abilities you will comfortably interface with customers and be experienced in the mentoring/guidance of project teams.  In your career to date you will have gained experience in the following areas:

•    Specifying SCADA systems
•    Software systems and reporting databases
•    RTU’s and Telemetry systems
•    Hardware associated with SCADA Systems (PLC & HMI etc)
•    Writing and delivering technical reports.
•    Running projects
