Due to continued growth and a demand for their expertise our client requires an additional Controls System Engineer experienced in the programming and commissioning of various PLC and SCADA platforms to join their well-established growing engineering team.

 
This role will see you involved in the many aspects of control systems engineering as utilised in industrial facilities throughout New Zealand.  To be successful in your application you will be required to demonstrate skills and experience in some or all of the following:

• Control system design
• Programming of PLC and SCADA platforms (Rockwell and Schneider in particular)
• Implementation and commissioning of projects 
• Troubleshooting on control systems hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration and application.
• Customer interaction, with the ability to build strong professional on-going relationships
• Experience around safety systems would be advantageous

This role will see you working with various project teams.  As such you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to mix and function well in a team environment. You will possess the ability to prioritise project requirements, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met as agreed.

 
Qualifications relating to the electrical engineering sectors along with strong English communication skills written and spoken are a prerequisite for this role.
