Our client is a leading provider of innovative electrical solutions, specialising in consulting, design, installation, and commissioning of new projects, as well as maintenance and support for a range of clients’ plants and machinery across New Zealand. 

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of post-graduate experience. You will work on a wide variety of exciting projects, from concept design through to commissioning, supporting clients across the industrial sectors. The role offers a balance of office-based design and onsite project involvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 
•    Design, develop, and deliver electrical projects from concept to completion 
•    Programming of PLC’s, HMI’s and SCADA systems
•    Provide consulting and technical expertise to clients 
•    Manage installation, testing, and commissioning activities 
•    Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations 
•    Support ongoing maintenance and optimisation of clients’ plant and equipment

Skills and Experience: 
•    Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering 
•    Minimum of five years post-graduate experience in a similar role 
•    Proven background in project design, supervision, and delivery 
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
•    Experience in the industrial sectors
