About the role
Our client is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer for this full-time position.  The position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to a range of exciting electrical design projects. Based in Onehunga Auckland, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and troubleshooting electrical systems, including PLC's, HMI's and SCADA solutions.

What you'll be doing
•    Designing and implementing electrical systems, including PLC programming, HMI design and SCADA integration
•    Troubleshooting and maintaining electrical control systems to ensure optimal performance
•    Preparing detailed documentation, schematics and drawings for electrical projects
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end electrical solutions
•    Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant standards and regulations

What we're looking for
•    Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
•    Minimum 1 -2 years' post graduate experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
•    Experienced in Allen Braley PLC programming, HMI design and SCADA integration
•    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Up-to-date knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations
