The role:
We require a Senior electrical engineer to be based in our client’s Auckland office.  This role will see you working in the following sectors: Industrial infrastructure, Transmission & distribution, Utilities and Local government projects. You will be responsible for delivering electrical projects in conjunction with other team members on time and within budgets.  You will provide leadership and mentoring to engineers reporting to you and will actively interact with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are being met. About you:
You will be a Chartered electrical engineer with a background in consultancy or heavy industrial/infrastructure facilities.  With strong English written and verbal communication abilities and proven experience in running projects. You will be comfortable with customer interfacing and the mentoring/guidance of project teams.  Your experience will include:

•    HV & MV engineering (e.g. distribution, protection, earthing)
•    LV engineering (switchboards, motor controls)
•    Generation systems
•    Control systems
•    SCADA & telemetry systems
•    Proficiency in relevant AS/NZS standards
