About the role:
In this role you will be responsible for selling and promoting the company’s range of electrical products, services, and solutions into designated sales territories throughout the Central North Island.  Your client base will include consulting engineers, Switchboard builders, industries, utilities, system integrators, electrical contractors and OEM’s. 

You will be tasked with:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers across your territory
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities through proactive prospecting
• Delivering compelling product demonstrations that showcase the value of well thought out solutions
• Following up on quotes and action items to drive profitable results
• Managing your own time/sales administration efficiently and independently

About you:

• You will be from an electrical or mechanical trades or engineering background with sales experience advantageous. 
• Have a high standard of presentation and excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
• Be a positive/confident, self-motivated individual with a strong customer focus. 
• Possess the ability to present and interact with clients in a professional manner, forming long term business relationships with both new and existing clients
• Happy working independently and managing your own call cycle
