About the company

Our client has been looking after commercial and industrial customers across Southland for more than 28 years. They handle repairs, installations, projects and planned maintenance programmes, and many of their customers have been with them for years. Demand keeps growing, so they need another servicing electrician to join the team.

What you'll be doing

• Commercial and industrial service and repair callouts
• Installation projects, rewires and upgrades
• Preventative and scheduled maintenance for regular customers
• Dealing directly with customers: diagnosing the problem, explaining the fix and keeping them updated

What's on offer

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, minimum 40 hours a week

What you'll need

• Full NZ electrical registration and a current practising licence
• Electrical servicing experience
• Good communication skills, in person and in writing, with customers and the team
• Comfortable working on your own or as part of a crew
• A self-starter who gets jobs finished on time
• Current NZ driver's licence
• The right to live and work in New Zealand
